Central locking fails
Hi,
I have a 96 Bongo, and my central locking (operated with key on driver side) works on and off.
Sometimes it works for weeks in a row, sometimes it only works after closing the driver door twice.
Any views?
thx

Re: Two batteries
one of the batteries is connected via a relay into the dashboard area.
the other battery on the left has a solid cable down, presumably to starter motor.
Although it might be a leisure battery, i am not sure what it is connected to? I need to put key in ignition for each and every 12v point in the ...

Two batteries
Hi,
I have a 96 n-reg 2.5 turbo diesel Bongo, and it seems to have 2 batteries (one on left, one on right).
How do I check if one of them (right one presumably if you stand i front of car) is a leisure battery?
Also, regardless of what battery it is, does it mean I have twice the amount of time I ...

Re: front fan stopped working
Dear all, some more advice required.
An update:
- I checked the fan itself, and it rotated freely;
- I then took out the resistor. Since I did not know what it had to look like if it was broken, I ordered a new one.
- When the new one arrived, it looks just like the old one, so I assume the old one ...

Re: front fan stopped working
I joined the club some time ago and looked at the factsheets, thanks.
So, it will be a case of replacing the resistor then.
Is there a chance the fan motor is damaged as well?

Re: front fan stopped working
Since the fan was working at one low speed until I started jiggling the fan control knob, could it be that the knob 'disconnected' at the 'zero speed' option?
If so, how could I check if the knob is disconnected?
Any help greatly appreciated.

front fan stopped working
When driving the bongo this morning everything worked fine. Later on today I started up and found that the heater/cooler fan was only working at one speed (low), and later on it did not work at all anymore. The aircon still works, you can hear it going on, but there is no air coming out of the ...

driver side rear view mirror moves abour
Hi, I am a new Bongo owner....
When driving at speed (60MPH), my rear view mirror on the driver sides starts to jitter and flap around (obviously by force of the wind...). Any ideas how I can prevent this from happening?
thx
Maurice
