I saw a picture where someone had mounted it underneath the electric blind switches, next to your left knee. You can see it easily through the steering wheel. I've already mounted mine in a BMW cubby clock thingy, wish it hadn't now as I think this is a better space. Problem with them being mounted ...

Thanks Tony, I thought I had read somewhere that spray on ptfe is the best. As usual before I do anything I was going to scour this forum as virtually everything seems to have been asked already.

Really useful post, thanks for putting this up. Maybe this could be made into a helpsheet on the main site?
Mine currently works ok other than juddering as it goes, planning to clean the runners & re-grease them when it's a little warmer.

Fitting Plasma Dials
Hi all, got some plasma dials for Belle (the Bongo) for my birthday. Very happy!
I'm happy with all the information I've got so far & know how to fit them and where I'll put the switch/dimmer, but which wire should I connect them to so they have power? I'm guessing it should be the side light but ...
