Fitting Plasma Dials

Post by Harry Monster » Tue Dec 16, 2014 7:59 pm

Hi all, got some plasma dials for Belle (the Bongo) for my birthday. Very happy!

I'm happy with all the information I've got so far & know how to fit them and where I'll put the switch/dimmer, but which wire should I connect them to so they have power? I'm guessing it should be the side light but I have no idea which one this would be.

I must admit I haven't taken the dash out yet so haven't investigated, don't want to get to the point of no return only to get completely stuck. I'm very far from being an expert in the world of auto electrics so any help is most appreciated! Thanks all.

Use the Front Fog Light connector see here http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 39#p386039

That's brilliant Geoff, thank you very much. I searched all over the forum & couldn't find anything - let's hope my electrical skills are better than my searching ones!

I connected mine to the bulb that lights up the ashtray under the centre console.
Lost without my Bongo.
