I put all the wiring back to original state
On the back of the switch is a thick red lead that ran to the back of the bongo and light unit. I moved this to the contact prong next to it which had nothing on and hey presto the fog light works ...

Re: Rear Fog not working V6
Yeah I've tried the reverse bulb and the fog bulb, I ran the bulb connector from the positive to negative on the battery and it lights up fine
I ran the new power wire through the bulb connector to negative battery and that does not light it or running it to earth

Re: Rear Fog not working V6
So.... lots of beard scratching going on...
The bulb definitely works!
I've completely removed the bulb socket and tested it on the battery that works too
I've run power from the back of the switch to the bulb connector, then earth the connector and the switch light turns on but not the bulb ...

Re: Rear Fog not working V6
Yeah I've tried all the different combos! The buttons are to the right of the steering wheel, one is an one/off switch with a light on the switch and the other is a classic fog light button with a symbol on it.

Rear Fog not working V6
Hello,
So Guffrey failed his MOT today due to the rear fog not working (amongst other things)
Annoyingly the rear fog has never worked since i've owned it (3 years) and hasn't failed due to this before.
So, it's located in the reverse light housing and the red bulb is fine. (not one of those ...

Re: Intermittent horn (V6)
So all seems fine where the horn is (behind drivers head light)
I tried pressing the horn in different places on the steering wheel and after a while it started working normally. So I'm wondering if there's some sort of dodgy connection behind the steering wheel cover.
Can I just take this off ...

Re: V6 98 - Second hand or aftermarket Radiator
So i've bought a new one from ebay for £56 and also a thermostat whilst i'm at it
The bit i'm worried about is getting the coolant in and making sure theres no air pockets, i've watched the video on youtube, but it seems like it'll be tricky doing it on my own
I'm going to get an lca at a later ...

V6 98 - Second hand or aftermarket Radiator
Hello the top of my radiator blew today (fortunately not far from home)
I've checked the Lush projects parts numbers and it seems the radiators fit all three auto models with the after market radiators fitting both manual and autos
Would people recommend getting a secondhand or aftermarket ...

Ok thankyou for your suggestions
So rather than just getting them to fit a water pump check it out first, that makes sense
