I would guess that something is not quite right although if it started on boxing having been stood but then wouldn't start after a couple of days standing im wondering if you left something on by mistake or you only took it for a short run which wasn't enough to recharge the battery.

mine are wired into the mazda kitchen unit so only work when turn the leisure battery isolater on

I filled it up set the trip meter and filled it up again noting the mileage and did the maths

I have just filled ours up for the first time since we had it, its a 4x4 diesel auto and got 29.27 mpg and that was a mixture of town driving and "A" road cruising and im pleased with that

we have only had our bongo a couple of months and had a couple of weekends away so far but love it and we are going to the bash just to nose at other peoples vans to se what we want to do with ours but we have the original mazda kitchen unit which im told is rare so might just keep it original.
