Cheers Simon. Turns out fault this weekend was simply that the garage hadn't put a lead in properly on the alternator when they put it back on last week. He also remains adamant I don't need the third belt.
Last straw tbh, I'm moving elsewhere to have any future work done and getting the extra belt ...

Re: Split seats I a tin top
Thanks guys appreciate the prompt replies. Not unheard of then but will question them on the work level being done etc
I'm sure you're mistaken there about 'the right side of the bridge' tho Mark

Split seats I a tin top
Hi I know the tin top doesn't come with split rear seats but local Bongo garage says they can fit some for me instead of the rear bench seat.
Is this ok or very dodgy and should be avoided with a barge pole?
Cheers

New alloy wheels
Hi
Just bought some alloys for my Bongo. Currently on 15's but new ones are 16's.
Couple of q's:
Where can I get alloy wheel nuts from? Local motor factors scratching their heads as Bongo doesn't show on their systems.
Any tips that I need to look at when getting garage to change these over ...

Three belts or two
Hi guys
Be gentle with me as new to owning a Bongo and new to the forum.
Been assured by local garage that I don't need all of the belts. The front one shows signs of rust around the pulleys so he assures me that's not the cause of my battery being flat? AA guys says very different.
Help?
Cheers
