Re: fuse box help needed

Thanks for the advice that makes perfect sense now. The fuse blew due to our usb charger extension breaking when we tried to take it out of the 12v socket (my husband managed to get the broken bits out but the fuse tripped in the process  )

Thanks again

fuse box help needed

Hi everyone, seeking some advice please - the fuse for the stereo and electric mirrors tripped so I thought it would be a straightforward change of fuse to fix, however instead of a fuse in the slot there is a wire running into it instead? I've taken a picture of this (though not sure how to attach ...

'Cat flap' roof modification

Hi folks,

I'm back onto considering this again, as at the moment my husband gets landed with sleeping in the pop top!

I know that 123 Away do it, but it's a long hike for me from West central Scotland.

Have any fellow Scots had it done, or will I need to book in a trip South of the border ...

Re: Starter motor?

still say it just needs new contacts

Quite possibly mate. I'm afraid having an older vehicle is showing up our lack of knowledge. Have tried to suggest that 'im indoors gets himself along to some sort of night class (I'm already in the middle of a degree, so I have an excuse!), but he's not ...

Re: Starter motor?

Thanks folks - unfortunately I'm not a very techie person at all (nor is my other half), so we left the techie part to our friendly local(ish) Bongo mechanic. It was the breakdown recovery guy we needed to get out to get the van started (by hitting the starter motor!) who suggested we needed a new ...

Pipe that runs from front to back of van?

Hi folks, sorry for the complete absence of a technical term for this pipe that runs from the front to the back on the underside of the van. I believe it carries water or coolant(?) and should be metal, though ours seems to have had a repair at some point and has a short length of plastic pipe ...

Starter motor?

Hi folks,

I'm really sorry if this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to get the "search" function to work on this computer.

Our starter motor on our 2.5L diesel Bongo needs replaced and we've been trying to source one online. Unfortunately there aren't any distinguishing marks or ...

Re: Something to make folded seats more comfy?

One thing I hope everyone does is take the headrests out and refit them back to front as this gets rid of the most obvious lumps in the double bed. I find it really comfy with just a thin self inflating mattress beneath me.

Aha, I'd taken them out but didn't realise they could go back to front ...
