Just fitted my Volt/temp/clock drilled a little hole in the cubby above the stereo, I now need to wire in a switch to choose between leisure and starter batteries.

Re: Horn started all on its own and would not stop
That's a good idea, I'll have a look tomorrow and see if there are any bare wires.

Horn started all on its own and would not stop
My wife was driving our Bongo today and the horn started sounding for no apparent reason it stayed on for a whole 20mins. When she finally gave up trying to fix it and drove off it stopped on its own. Our Bongo came with an after-market Momo steering wheel, I havn't taken this off yet but has anyone ...

Where do you buy your Veggie oil?
We went out today to try and find some cheap oil but came home empty handed. We are in Southampton so tried FarmFoods which didn't have anything bigger than a 1L bottle then we tried Tesco and Asda and neither had much going cheap.
Where's good? Do I need to get a CostCo or Macro card somehow?

Re: I found a replacement LED tube for the florescent rear o
Fitted mine and took some shots but I didn't have anything to compare them to as i had no shot of the old tube.
Its definitely brighter than my old tube and just about enough to read by,
Its a very blue light and not as warm as the old tube.
Its not great, I would prefer some brighter LED's and ...

I'll take some night shots this weekend so you can see how bright it is (or not!).

driver window switch, ball bearing!
I have just taken my drivers switch apart to try and fix the lever for the drivers side window (everything else works).
When I took the board out of the holder a small spring and ball baring came out, I think this is from the tamper button to stop all the other switches working. But I cant see how ...

Re: charging leisure battery from campsite hook up?
I went and had a look, this is what connects the two batteries, so I think I can connect my charger to the SB and this will then charge the LB?

Re: charging leisure battery from campsite hook up?
You lost me a bit there!
I think I must have some connection between my main battery and my leisure battery as the alternator charges both. I was a little worried about having all the interior lights on as I bet these are connected to the main battery not the leisure battery.
So if I install this ...

Re: charging leisure battery from campsite hook up?
Hi Dodgey, I was thinking that. Will have a look for mains chargers.
This one looks good, would you connect it to main car batter, or the leisure battery?

charging leisure battery from campsite hook up?
Is there anyway to charge the batteries from the camp site hook up? I currently just have a 3 way gang for running a heater and chargers but would like to charge the batteries to. Is this possible?
