I don't know how to back flush the heater radiator. I did try having a look at it, taking all the big plastic bit from above the fan off, but couldn't find two pipes to flush out I'd seen mentioned elsewhere.
Not sure where the thermostat is and how to check it.

Year 2000 2ltr Petrol/LPG Automatic Mazda Bongo Bleed
Hi, I watched the old video with Kirsty etc showing how to bleed the coolant system on a mazda bongo and we were all ready to give it a try today but we couldn't find the bleed hose anywhere. It's a different model that the one in the video, ours is a Year 2000 2ltr Petrol/LPG Automatic.

Re: Year 2000 Bongo heater
When you say under the dash by steering do you mean I have to remove the dashboard? I can't see anything obvious?

Re: Year 2000 Bongo heater
Hello fellow yorkie.
Im having sameish issues. Your sound like a lack of coolant flow or blocked matrix. They do take a long time before they heat up. Its a big engine and if short runs rarely get heat into engine block to work .
Wherabouts in york r u. Could have a look if you dont get sorted

Year 2000 Bongo Radio Hack
Is it possible to hack the radio so the channels are within the same band we use in the UK? Or do most people just swap out the radio? I could swap the radio I guess, but I kind of like it with its little display and picture of Tokyo Tower.

Year 2000 Bongo heater
I have the heater set to 32 (max) but it seems to be total pants. The only time it ever gets above lukewarm is when I'm stuck in traffic and the temp gauge goes up from its normal position of zero (another weird Bongo thing I think?).
Anyway, so is there something I can do to make the heater work ...
