thanks coradia63 getting a better idea of the componentry looking at links in your post gonna be either the bearing or the splines on the components next will be to establish procedure of dismantling and rebuilding thanks again

front axle bearing
wonder if anyone in the forum has a picture and could post it on the forum of the front axle with the offside inner cv joint removed showing presumably a bearing and the means that it is retained in the end of the axle tube have a bearing at this point with a large amount of play

have checked diff oil level and found it to be spot on , however have had a good look around and am pretty sure the problem is the bearing in the outer end of the front offside axle casing , the inner cv joints outer casing is flopping about all over the place so is the bearing replaceable whats ...

some swift responses here thanks , the oil in the diff hasnt been checked it is on the to do list now thanks , whats the best oil for the diff

hi all bongo fury , have still got a problem with the bongo drive train , and am wondering if there is a link in the forum that could be posted to driving the 1994 turbo diesel auto with the front propshaft removed if this possible or wether more has to be removed than the propshaft the on going ...

still require the torque wrench figure for the front hub nut
and will gladly read anyone elses observations and hints and

hi all bongo forum I need to change the nearside front
constant velocity joint on the bongo 2.5 turbo 1996
any hints tips and/or special observations on this one
would be appreciated I intend to remove the upright
leaving it still attached to the wishbone and would
