Bodywork S Wales

Hello,

Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent bodyshop in South Wales to replace the rear arches and some other bits of welding.

TIA

Diff Oil - GL5, Really?

Is GL5 really the correct oilf for the diff's and t/box. All the info I can find suggests its the one to use....

The stuff I bought is semi transparent and looks not much more viscous than water.

GL4 looks more like it to me, especially getting on past the 100k miles mark.

Any thoughts?

Re: Coolant Loss - Passenger side??

Sorry for not coming back sooner, BT aren't the quickest at installing broadband! Going to have a concerted effort on it tomorrow, really bugging me, I'm pretty good at these things. Reckon I'm loosing about the best part of the header tank over 48hrs whilst static. Wish I had the ramps installed he...

Re: Conversion nearly done........

Ballpark, and I've not totted it up properly.

Flooring, units, carpeting where needed and installing. Rock and roll bed inc upholstery and fitting approx £1400.

Savings possible on cheaper bed and upholstery though.

If you want any more info, just let me know :D

Re: Conversion nearly done........

I think if you need it as a daily driver too, its a cracking idea. Having seen it in now, and removed everything I would probably have a crack at it. Having the units to take templates from helps mind! The bed would take a a bit of thinking though, you might want to think about bespoke fabrication t...

Conversion nearly done........

So, after buying the Bongo last March, It's done nearly 5000miles, passed an MOT with flying colours and made it to Le Mans and back with ease! I've done a few bits, to it, but nothing unexpected. Cambelt was done as a matter of course. I fitted a new exhaust and did the pads all round. I also fitte...

Re: Extending manual heater comtrols for side conversion

Hello all, The heater controls are located behind the drivers seat, they are still accessible but a bit tucked out the way. Now I know they work the panel can be rebated and mounted from behind the unit. View looking from behind the drivers seat with A pillar to the LHS. http://i1254.photobucket.com...

Re: Extending manual heater comtrols for side conversion

Morning all, So, when everything is out, all was revealed. Shouldn't be too much of a problem, the cables are long enough (I think!) to either be mounted in the front of the side conversion low down, or worst case probably on the side face of the cabinet behind the drivers seat. Not pulled the loom ...
