mirror Question

Post by brorabongo » Thu Mar 08, 2007 1:18 am

My rear view mirror magnifies, yet the wing mirrors make things look smaller/further away. Every other vechicle I drive or have driven have had no differences between both mirrors.

Is this normal? It was a bit confusing to begin with:?

Yep, same on mine, you,ll soon get used to it, i assume its to do with van type mirrors on a van type vehicle...Speaking of mirrors, ive been on the lookout for some kerbside mirrors as fitted to hgv's for my bongo, but smaller versions, no luck so far... :(

Meatloaf................objects in the rearview mirror may appear closer than they are.
Most mirrors have some magnification, in my Vectra there is a marked difference in the interior & wing mirrors. Not sure about the Bongo.

Common practice in Japanese vehicles at least and I've owned quite a few.
