For all you members buying after market alloys or putting 18" rims on etc you are then asking what size tyres to use and what pressure to full the tyre but have you checked the weight ratio of the tyre because if they are not 8 ply or there abouts you are running on tyres that will not supprt the weight of the bongo and thats not good for a number of reasons...
Firstly apologies if this is in the info section if only I were to look, in my defence you brought this up and got me thinking ....
I know nowt about much vehicle spec wise, I trusted our local tyre guy on the trading estate and am allergic to spending money
How can you tell if the tyres are man enough for the weight please ?
what is the clue ? ours are 215/65 R15.96H if that means anything to you I expect mau's have their own codes to confuse the likes of me...
As we sometimes do 300 mile round trip days out I obviously want a tyre that will do the job at speed. apparently they are "van rated" ?
Thanks folks!

Hi John, thanx thats put my mind at rest for a while anyway.... as I am 3 weeks away from being 45 I don't understand these foreign weights so I'll take your word on that one
Dave's not too sure about the 130mph, he says our Bongo is not to keen on staying on its own side of the road at 90mph (not that he tries it too often
) He said he definitely WONT take it to a ton....
