FRONT FOG LIGHT BULB

Hi All. I have just taken the light bulb out of my front fog light. The bulb i have taken out is blue but the ones i have been looking at are clear.Any advise please. Thankyou. Andy.

The blue ones are designed to give a brighter or whiter light - there are loads of different ones, only some of which do what they claim.
You should be able to get them from any motor accessory shop.

It really doesn't matter.

If you are simply replacing one bulb I'd put another blue one in to match the existing bulb colour otherwise white ones are no difference except they're not blue!

The blue halogen bulbs are coloured blue to make it look like you've got fancy metal halide bulbs that are found in newer cars (e.g BWMs).

You can't turn a £10 halogn bulb into a £70 metal halide bulb just painting it blue.

You will see some people say that you can see more in the blue light but I say "B*ll*cks" (or politley put "it's maketing hype"):!:

If you think they look cool go for it otherwise don't worry.
