Cooling System

Post by wooden wheel » Thu Dec 14, 2006 9:28 pm

Hi All, I've been thinking of flushing the cooling system on my bongo, but because its not straightforward I don't want to do it if it does'nt need it!
When I lift the passenger seat there's a sticker on the chassis with "sludge nizer" and 96000kms written on it (its done 120,000 now) I assume its some sort of coolant additive, has anyone ever heard of it?

You should be flushing every two years according to manufacturer's recommendations. It's not that much of a chore to do. My MR2's a lot harder and a nightmare in comparison.
