misfire, not idling right

my bongo friend is hard to start misfires and doesnt idle without stalling, any ideas? help?

it is petrol 2.0 I suspect distributor after having new leads and distributor cap

Its probably worth checking all aspects; Plugs clean and adjust gaps if required, leads make sure the leads and connectors are all clean and in good condition, then distributor cap and rotor, then finally the king lead and back to the spark coil again making sure there clean and in good condition.

the distributor was changed but still the same problem. on this model there is no falt finder socket for computer as it is older model so we are just guessing

its not misfiring but runs very rough and stalls without revs

Common cause is a faulty mass airflow MAF. There are 2 types so you need to match the number sticker on yours.

Hi Doone, changed mass airflow MAF, and still we are baffled, still looking for other options, might try and get some codes.
