Safe park and ride for Central London ?

Post by Capt Ham » Sun May 18, 2025 12:29 pm

Hiya, I’m heading south in Beryl the Bongo on Wednesday to visit Chelsea Flower Show. Staying at hotel in Central London but looking for some local advice on the best and safest places to park overnight. I had looked at some QParks just outside ULEZ, but they all seem to have height restrictions of 2.08m (although I measured my AFT at 2.02m .. maybe the tyres are a bit low  )

Now looking for railway stations (preferably on the southwest/south) that are safe for a 24hr overnight stay ? Any help gratefully received.

Anywhere that goes into Victoria as a railway station is your best bet, though south + outside ULEZ is a fair way out, and the increase in trainfare may offset the cost of just paying the ULEZ charge (£12.50 x 2 for day you arrive day you leave).

So, I wouldn't necessarily restrict your search to outside ULEZ, especially not if it's more convenient to be more central.
