Cargo nets / securing boot when opening

Post by BromGo » Tue Mar 25, 2025 6:17 pm

Looking for ideas on simple ways to secure contents when you open the boot - if i'm storing e.g. the collapsed buggy on its side, it's liable to fall out when I open the boot. Bungee cords around the rear headrests seems the simplest, but open to other ideas.

I came across https://cargo-nets.co.uk/ but seems overpriced for what they are. Might be a secure long term solution, though.

 Ideas appreciated!

This is my system www.g8dhe.net/bongo_images/cargo_net/ uses the existing fixing points such as seat belt, fire extinguisher, hinge screw for gas compartment and frame of rear R&R bed. The net itself was off of eBay.

Thanks Geoff that looks great. No conversion here but the seatbelt points are a good shout.
