Electric Window switch - SWAP?

Post by kerryball » Mon Jul 08, 2024 5:58 am

I am trying to find a replacement switch unit but I am New Zealand, does anyone know if any other Mazda/Ford vehicles have the same unit?

I believe that the window switch on a 323 is sufficiently identical merely the physical positions of the switches are changed driver side close to the driver and passenger close to the door. However it might be worth investigating eBay as there seem to be several available at least for the UK!

Just fitted one of these cheap £12 Mazda 323F copies from Ebay this weekend to my 1999 Bongo drivers side. As stated, the window switch positions are reversed and no auto function, but good enough and working fine. Messing around de-pinning the switch plug signal contacts may be possible to correct the position for later Bongo's. The switch feels a bit cheap, but that 'cus they are!!
