Low power from heater/blowers

Post by Po0kZ » Tue Feb 07, 2023 2:39 pm

Hi,

Had my Freda/Bongo for a year now and want to ask if it is normal for the heater/blowers to have really low ‘power’?

Even on setting 4 I am only getting a light breeze through the vents. Is this a problem that needs fixing or do I need to upgrade the fan?

Cheers

Sounds like you have a problem! Normally on the highest settings then its a good breeze whistling past!
Start by checking the links on the rotating adjusters according to the diagrams and type of air con you have;

After that check the state of the fan motor, they can get badly corroded as the water drain point at the bottom can get clogged see this link http://www.g8dhe.net/bongo_images/air_fan_cleaning/
