Bongo Fury

Hi!
I am a tinker and a mechanic both jobwise and hobbywise. I love tinkering with this and that and I decided to install a small workbench in our Bongo. It is just me and the hubby and he is fine with that idea. I know where and how to put the workbench but I need some advise as how to secure the surroundings. What kind of disposal bin should I have and how to cover the walls and nearby floor to be fireproof. I am not going to burn anything but I use a welder, so you know. All tips are welcome!

I'd get a Workmate, replace the ply with metal, and weld outside.

If it needs to be more stable I'd make a bracket and brace it to the tow bar.

Fire / heat resistant board, the type they use to surround log burning stoves, or make register plates for the flue to go up through a combustible roof. Thin and light.
