temperature gauge sensor is located?

anyone know where the temperature gauge sensor is located? I have no reading on the temperature gauge, and am told it could be the sensor. It's a 1997, 2.5 diesel

Its the front top of the engine on a diesel, single green wire item 18-510 on the link below http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... no=.html#5

Easy to see from the driver's side.
The wire to it runs over the front of the rocker cover for the passy side.

Just changed my sensor, but temp gauge still playing up. Have now ordered the engine guard digital temperature gauge, as I dont trust the van one

It's possible the thermostat has been removed to hide a problem.

Let's hope not.
