aircon problem

Post by robhho123 » Mon Aug 17, 2020 9:42 pm

Hi All

new here and hoping someone might help.
I bought our 2001 bongo a couple of months ago and i've been sorting some parts out that need looking at.
I've been working on the aircon tonight and It looks like I might have an electrical fault, I tested the
power coming to the air con pump and there doesn't seem to be any. I removed the fuse box cover under the
steering wheel and it looks a mess of wires not sure whats what. Does anyone have an idea what fuses are for
aircon? and has anyone had a similar issue.

sorted the issue it had no gas in the system, so the pump wasn't engaging. Bypassed the sensor pump kicked in, re gassed the system and its like the artic tundra now 👍. If anyone else has a similar issue try bypassing the sensor before you pull your hair out🤣.
