Knocking Noise

Post by Weavy » Sun Dec 08, 2019 7:07 pm

Hi all im new to bongo world and here this is my 1st post so plz be gentle hahah
ive not been out in the van much but i started getting a slight knocking last week i put it into a local garage and he said its the lower ball joint
and also since getting the van back the knocking seems worse and its a reptuble garage too

anyways ive just poted on one of the fb pages asking what balkl joint to get for my freda and someones said that it wont be the ball joint as they dont knock and is it not a cv joint

so im wondering what ppls thoiughts may be as the knocking seems to be comming from under me nothing on steering wheel

Welcome aboard. 8)

Have a search on here for 'drop links'.

Basicaly a suspension/steering part which likes to go 'clunk'.

Common problem and not expensive.

Not a very techie explanation (others will give more info) but it doesn't look serious. :)
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.
