ABS light on

My Bongo has been stood for most of this year with moving or being started as all. I need to use it this weekend but for various reasons I was only able to start it yesterday & the ABS light is permanently on from the moment it is switched before it is moved. There appears no issues with the wiring to the 4 wheel sensors, all have been disconnected, check & re connected with electrical cleaner used. Battery was disconnected for 10mins but nothing has changed. Battery has never gone flat as it is trickle charged by a solar panel.
Does anyone a) have any thoughts & b) know how to get the fault codes out & what they mean?
Bit worried as it needs an MOT before I go!
TIA Geoff

Is it a pre-99 Bongo? Is there a diagnostic box in the passenger footwell?

Brilliant, many thanks. What is the method of clearing down codes for ABS?

Alternator had gone on ours when ABS light came on.. Check that battery is charging when engine running.

It would be worthwhile giving the vehicle a run, applying the brakes regularly ( jabbing ).

I think you will find that on Ignition on it self tests, and displays any error until switched off again.

Sorry chaps, bum steer there, I went & read it myself & got code 11 - right front wheel sensor. So a few tests tomorrow - hopefully just a sensor which is simple to sort out.
It has been driven for 10 miles but the light is on as soon as you start so it has to be electrical somewhere.

Thanks for the help, (bloody expensive) wheel sensor sorted it.
