Hi looking at buying a v6, what is anyone’s experience, better or worse than 2.5 litre? Advice much appreciated please.

Plenty of power, plenty of speed, quiet, cheaper in direct fuel terms but not as good mpg wise I work on 21mpg average over the year, about 18mpg around town but 23+mpg on the motorways.
