Hi, thanks for the speedy reply. Quite honestly I don't know the extent of the damage as it's with my mechanic at the local garage. I'm assuming from the pictures you couldn't use wire and a pin because its built inside the plastic? ideally I'd like the whole unit and the female part of the plug with some wire left (fussy, I know!) just to make it easier and he said they're both fairly corroded.Billybongo123 wrote: Mon Mar 26, 2018 7:13 pm I have a spare box with a good one on? Falling that are any other pins the same? I have a Bongo with no engine and box. I might be able to get you another pin and a length of wire?

It was the inhibitor in the gear box, it was stopping it from starting presumably vecause it thought it was in gear at all times. The connections were very badly water damaged and rusted
