Bongo Fury

Hi,
Lost fifth gear. It's in the box somewhere I guess but I can't select it. Stick just drops back out into neutral. Wlt 2.5 diesel manual 5 speed (4 at the moment)

Anyone had similar? Is it possibly linkage adjustment or terminal gearbox malfunction? 1st to 4th and reverse are fine, no horrible noises, just won't go in to 5th.

Any ideas appreciated as ever.

Answering my own post!
There is a bracket attached to the gearbox underneath to which the cables from the stick attach. This is snapped at one end so doesn't provide enough leverage in the right direction for the box to get into 5th.
Spot of weld or two should sort it out with a bit of luck.

may be worth a lube of the cables, for the first time since it was made.
