Rear heater pipe.

Post by Paddy » Mon Aug 21, 2017 10:00 pm

The rear heater pipe on drivers side has corroded and is leaking, the van has a side conversion and the rear heaters are seldom used. Is it possible to do away with the rear heater pipes and reconnect the remaining pipes in a way that everything else works as normal The van is a 2.5 diesel 4wd. Thanks in advance. Paddy.

Hello paddy
I've done This very thing on my bus , blanked off the rear heater , I used a kit supplied from Ian in the bingo fury shop .
If the steel pipes are corroded though I think I would replace them , I know I did .
Remember that if you do any work on the coolant system it must be PROPERLY bled afterwards !
See ytube for the three videos there very good
Best of luck with it and keep us informed
Brian
