No power from leisure battery

Post by KMH » Mon Jul 31, 2017 8:10 am

I have a new leisure battery, but have no power coming through. I've changed the fuses under the bonnet to no avail. The power unit is receiving power from the car battery, but nothing from the leisure. I am of course on a campsite with limited facilities! Any ideas about what to do next?

Is there a switch somewhere marked something like 'Car/Van/ Both'?

Could it have been moved when the new battery was fitted?

Worth checking LB fuse. [-o<

Oh yes, the obvious - is there charge in the battery, ie could it be completely flat?

Thanks, yes I've checked all that - it has just kicked in (when I forgot it wasn't working and tried to use the tap!) so I wonder if I've got a dodgy bit of wiring somewhere.
