Parasitic Draw Mystery

Post by doc6489 » Wed May 03, 2017 3:29 pm

HI Folks

I have a draw of 0.52 amps from my leisure battery which I have traced to the circuit linked to fuse 8 - folding mirrors/cigar lighter. I have disconnected each of these in turn to try and isolate the fault but the draw remains even if I disconnect them all at the same time.

I have a fairly standard leisure battery set-up with a split-charger and a solar panel.

Running out of ideas - any suggestions.

Thanks

Something will have been added, like Remote key fob, Coolant Alarm, extra USB regulators etc. you need to search the wiring underneath the dashboard fpr extra connectors having been used!

A common cause of this is after market radios, particularly Lidl/Aldi.

Could this be plumbed into the LB?

Thanks for replies.

There is a coolant alarm so I will check the wiring for that as you suggest Geoff.

Will also check radio setup as suggested by Bob.
