Dealers in Devon/North Cornwall recommendations..?

Post by farcanal » Sat Jan 28, 2017 7:24 pm

Hi Guys.

Newbie here, I'm finally coming over from the VW Darkside - I'm doing my research and learning all I can about Bongos, I'm very experienced in VWs old and new, so looking forward to new challenges of the Japanese kind..!

I live in North Devon, and I'm pretty sure I've driven past a Bongo dealer (or at least a dealer with a load of bongos on his forecourt) semi-regularly but for the life of me can't remember where.

Any recommendations are welcome - might also be looking at one in South Wales next weekend so I'll be posting a few questions I suspect!

Thanks.

FC.

Welcome aboard. :D

I'm sure there is a well thought of dealer in Cornwall, someone will know, and there's Allans, Plymouth.

What he doesn't know about Bongos we don't need to know. 8)

Agree about Allans. Seem to recall good reports for a place in Bodmin also (not sure if they trade Bingos though). Watch out for (underside) corrosion on old Bongos (and other cars) that may have lived near sea and salt.

P.s. Bodmin place is http://www.pitstopgs.com/

There's Bellhill Motors in Somerset also if not too far off.
