newbie question

hello

buying a bongo tomorrow and very excited. however the one i have my eye on has a bench rear seat and i want a fold up... have my eye on fold up seats on ebay but can i swap easily enough? does any bongo have brackets for fold up seats? thanks in advance for advice.

Hi, and welcome aboard.

Many Bongos have brackets for folding rear seats, but not ones fitted with a rear bench.

Yes, they can be retro fitted. No idea how much £££, but expert Bongo garage Allans, Plymouth has done it recently so a PM to 'Allans' will likely get you a rough price.

Not easy. Mounting plates have to be made up and welded in place for bolting tbe seats to etc. Allans in Plymouth did the job once for BF member Jillygumbo.

Good luck with the new Bongo.
