hi dose anyone know if I can get a new off side rear brake pipe from centre of axle to calliper or will I have to get one made up

A lot of auto spares shops will make them as you wait ( well the one opposite my house and another the other side of town do)
Just take your old one in
Think it's less than £20 to buy the tool that puts the splayed ends on your self
You would need a micro bore pipe bender as well ( less than £20 )

haven't took pipe off yet Gasy someone has rounded off the nut at some time and don't think I can remove it without more damage reason for asking question.......do you know the size of pipe please also is the fluid any special type thanks

Sometimes it is better to use a Ring spanner to remove the nuts.

I'm not familiar with removing Bongo brake pipes but how do you get a ring spanner onto a nut thats holding a pipe on?

I guess by removing the other end first?

Another thought, if the pipe is scrap you could cut it.

I have always used normal 'C' ended brake spanners .. or mole grips on other peoples knackered pipes ..

Just ordered one as my sons Smart car rear (drum brake) wheel cylinders are seeping and rather than re rubbering them we have bought two new complete ones to replace them...

and checked to day and it has been put in cross threaded so hay ho out comes the hacksaw done in no time only problem now is the tw**t that worked on it before has also rounded off one of the bolts holding the back plate on and also I haven't got the size to get a socket for the large nut either yet ...will have to purchase a nut splitter (for the small nut) this job is growing daily

will prob need a new flexi pipe as well if its cross threaded po
