Post by TonyW » Sun Oct 30, 2016 10:39 am

Hi all,

I'm trying to source some replacement front wiper arms for my 1995 Bongo ...... but can't find any anywhere?

Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance.

Surely a breaker such as Bongospares would have some? I presume they're not available new?

New wiper arms still available from Mazda for around £60 plus VAT plus delivery. Part numbers S05B67321 (offside) or S05C67321A (near side).

I have a set from my P reg, if you don't mind sanding them down and painting them. I've just moved house, so I would need to work out which box in the garage they are in before I could post them!

Dont know why your replacing yours, but mine were a mess of rust.

I took them off ,sanded tham down then bought a can of smooth black hammerite spray nd sprayed them.

They looked like new arms when done

Thanks you two .... yep they're just a bit rusty and and old looking.

I've drawn a complete blank on replacements so will go with the sand sown/hammerite option.

Cheers.

Every year or two I sand mine and smooth hammerite them (using a diy made pad of foam rubber from some stock i have and dabbing it on, to give an effect) and i do it without removing them as i understand doing that can be tricky if they've seized on and i don't see the point in stressing things unnecessarily on the old girl. Works a treat and takes minimal time.
