Lone plug under near side cubby

Post by cuchillo » Tue Oct 11, 2016 1:46 pm

Hello,

While checking the near side, rear, cigarette lighter socket I came across this 90 degree plug:

It was all wrapped up in black tape, which I removed so that I could look at it. I did put a meter across it and its was reading 12+ volts, so permanently live. However, I did not try disconnected the batteries or pull any fuses to work out where its feed came from and what it was fused to.

Any thoughts?

(I did re-wrap it in black tape before putting it back)

TIA

Its the plug that goes on the rear nearside socket up the back of the cubby hole. Does your rear socket work ?

Ah right!

Yes the socket works.

I guess that, the original plug was removed and a new feed from the leisure battery was pulled through.

All good thanks :-)
