Roof Vent Fan Ventilation

Hello,
My Skylift roof has a vent towards the back of it and was wondering if anyone has ever tried fitting a fan into that cavity? Its about 89 mm in diameter.
There is a 12 volt supply nearby so wiring it in will not be an issue.
I did have a quick google but have not yet managed to find a bi-directional fan of the right size to fit the cavity.
(I was thinking maybe a PC chassis fan could work here, but they are uni directional)
Thoughts?
TIA
Cuch

I think PC fans are simple DC just flipping the wires should do it shouldn't it?

I did consider that, but a couple of things came to light while checking Google. The blades are designed to be uni directional and they tend to have reverse polarity protection to stop you from mis-wiring it.
Don't have one to hand to test it

PC fans are NOT simple DC - they are speed controlled and unidirectional!

Could you mount a PC fan on some sort of quick release mount, to reverse just flip it over.

There are many different types of PC fans out there, some 2 pin, simple positive negative, others 3 and 4 pin for speed control etc.
All i have ever tested will all work when you power positive and negative regardless of the other wires, just feel the air coming off to make sure the air is being blown the right way. This is not a bad idea, i find in summer i can go all night fine its when it hits around 7 - 8am im normally cooking inside.

Never used one but seen them on caravans and motor homes.
Where would it fit on an ATF though?

Not an ATF. It's a skylift roof from JAL that comes with a mushroom vent at the back of it. I think it's the same size as this vent so could be a straight swap out, plus a bit of wiring.
Least, that's the theory!
