V6 oil pressure gauge.

Post by windywatson » Wed Sep 07, 2016 1:50 pm

Hi All,

Thinking of installing an oil pressure gauge to both my V6 petrols as they are getting older & having a gauge would give valuable information as to the performance of the oil pump & ultimately prevent any engine damage should the pressure start to become an issue.
Anyone fitted an oil pressure gauge to their van? If so could you tell me what thread the sensor is so that I can get a T piece to fit for the pressure take off. I intend to still leave the standard warning light so will be retaining the pressure switch as well. I assume the oil pressure sensor is somewhere in the area of the oil filter.

Any advise welcome.

Cheers
