Weather 19/20 August

Talk about non-Bongo stuff. BUT KEEP IT CLEAN....there are children watching. Smut, filth, and anything offensive will not be tolerated and removed immediately.

Weather 19/20 August

Post by Bob » Thu Aug 18, 2016 10:43 pm

The forecast for Friday and Saturday looks dire. :(

School holiday week so lots of peeps travelling, do be careful if you have a caravan or plan to put up a tent or awning, particularly Saturday. [-o<
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

Yup. Having been stuck in an office all week working in this fine weather, we'd been looking forward to getting out somewhere at the weekend. Oh well, have to get the tiddlywinks set out instead.

Bet it won't be as wet as glastonbury this year
Bongo did me proud again
And towed me mates Volvo estate with his twin axle caravan still on the back of his car across muddy field then went back across for my caravan no probs
Loads had to get towed out by big tractors
It was too muddy for landrovers
Even the big 4x4 tractors we're spinning wheels in the mud when towing out motor homes
They were putting straps on the wheels and pulling them sidewards in some occasions to get them out
One lady tractor driver had been working / towing people out for over 26hrs when I talked to her

Must admit I did smile as me bongo got all us lot out the field no problem
V festivals this weekend
Gas safe heating engineer / plumber if you need any advice just shout.

Got Graffam Water Saturday till Tuesday 23, Denny Wood till Saturday 27, DSF till 30th, Matley Wood till 2nd, Tenterden till 5th.
Am I bothered by the weather? I am not, all the above have cider and real ales as well as boozers with live music.
I have been looking forward to this all year and the weather can "do one" I have my trusty Bongo and a leaky Kela 3 ,what more could one ask for!
