MPPT controller-adding a multi port panel??

Post by tanglefoot » Wed Jun 08, 2016 4:46 pm

Question for dodgey if around, or anyone else if possible for an answer please. First, thanks to Roger for superb after sales service recently.

Question....I have been told there is a power take off from the MPPT (last two on the right). I want to add a 3-port panel consisting of a USB, a 12v power port and a LB status read-out. I already have one on the dashboard and want to add another near the 240v Hook-Up sockets. This is for convenience when powering up my microscope and charging electrical gear etc. I do not want more wires dangling about from the accessories fuse box under the glove box.

So can I do that? Any advice would be welcome...Thanks.

Yes just add the wires to the two connectors on the controller and mount the panel as suits your layout. Just make sure you get the polarity right, obviously!
