broken rear shock? how can I tell and which is the best one

Post by dnitu001 » Sun Dec 27, 2015 6:06 pm

Bongo has developed a nod.

on stopping seems to keep moving.

On pushing down on the van at each corner the rear passenger side seems the worst. moving more than the other corners

So my question has my rear shock gone?

Which one is the current best to replace with with?

happy to keep it as designed, don't need to move the fridge and plates any faster they rattle and the milk turns to butter

thanks for any help you can offer

Check also that antiroll bar bushes haven't broken, droplinks also. If it is the shocker then replace both sides for balanced handling.

I've used these and they're fine: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAZDA-BONGO-1 ... XQOT5RAprn

These are cheaper but will do the same thing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAZDA-BONGO-F ... SwZ1lWeQRw

The mechanic who looks after my Bongo has used the guys in Oldham for years and really rates them.
