Geoff (g8dhe) has asked me to pass on the sad news that Edna (Evil Edna) passed away on Sunday night after a long illness. Those of us that knew her always appreciated her tireless enthusiasm at the Bongo meetings, especially at the Bash in the knit-and-natter sessions.
She will be sadly missed.

Please pass on my condolences to Geoff and the family.
As said on facebook, we shared the same birthday and born in the same year.
Will miss her enthusiasm at the stitch and bitch and her happy face at the bashes.
Carry on crocheting Edna where ever you are and keep up the stitch and bitch.

That's dreadful news Ian

She will be sadly missed by me, and the many others that gathered around her and Geoff for a good old chin wag
Sincere condolences to Geoff.

i know it wont help geoff but dont think about ed leaving, think of all those great years you were together, you were the lucky one to have ed in your life, she really was one of the nicest people i had the pleasure to know.

Yes,very sad news indeed.
Only met Edna and Geoff at Mr Monkeys Welsh Bash, but I was well aware of here involvement in the Bongo community and the Bashes, and know she will be sadly missed.
R,I.P Edna, and my condolences to Geoff.

So very sorry to hear this sad news
Edna was a wonderful lady and Sue particularly enjoyed her company at the knitting circle, she made it one of the most popular events at the National.
Condolences from both of us.
RIP Edna.

Saddened to hear of Edna's passing, only saw her at the bongo bashes, a real larger than life character.
