Where does the temp sender hide on engine.

I have seen a photo from Bongo fury, with a red circle on near side of engine at the front. But i have not been able to find it. Thanks, hoping some one knows where. Regards Rallyman, Essex

Which engine do you have???
Diesel temp sender is on the offside under drivers seat

On the diesel engine for instance, there are two sensors: one for ECU and one for the temp gauge. Which one are you interested in?

Hi Doone, I am looking for the temp sender,i have found one at the top front of engine, under top by gear selector. Engine is 2.5 turbo diesel

I you are looking for the temperature gauge sender/transmitter you have found it ,if you are looking for the ETC sensor it is the one on the o/side of the engine towards the rear.
