High temperature /low coolant alarm opinion

Hi All,
Saving the pennies to buy one of thee Haydn setups. I was intending getting the clock/readout system that's housed in an audio DIN cuddly. Unfortunately the wife has laid claim to the cuddy and I was wondering where else others mount the display. Anyone managed to have it in front of the instrument binnacle? Anywhere else?

Interesting question. I have a TM2 and have yet to fit it. I've not been able to decide where it may be fitted unobstrusively - I'm not into loads of bright digital displays in full view of me and (more importantly) my passenger. I'll be interested to read what people say.

I saw a picture where someone had mounted it underneath the electric blind switches, next to your left knee. You can see it easily through the steering wheel. I've already mounted mine in a BMW cubby clock thingy, wish it hadn't now as I think this is a better space. Problem with them being mounted higher up is if sun shines on it you can't see the numbers

Interesting. I'd come round to thinking that might be a good position. Thanks for the tip.

I've mounted my TM2 and TM4 into case which fits in the top of the cubby hole. It's a short term solution until I make a smaller dedicated unit to contain them.
You can just make it out at the bottom of this picture. The unit on top was something I was toying with the idea of fitting to contain the temp gauges and some other switches, but that project has been shelved for now.
