2.0L Decat

Post by Bvan » Tue Apr 28, 2015 11:34 pm

Just wondering if anyone has decatted their 2.0L?
I've had it done on a couple of vehicles (petrol & diesel) in the past with great results.

MOT Fail. :(
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

Purple Pixie and Stuc have fitted decat pipes, but you will have to refit original at MOT time to avoid chance of failure. You may get away with it if the VOSA database doesn't tell the tester that it was manufactured with a cat, but I wouldn't risk it personally (and think of all the fluffy bunnies you'll be saving by leaving the cat in place).

I took mine off and sold it as it was running very rich and the emissions were sky high.

Hi Stuc, are you saying it was running richer after removing cat?
