Drive question

Post by Sad-Ac » Sun Jan 18, 2015 7:59 pm

Guys, quick question. the 4x4 Bongo's are obviously 4 wheel drive. But all other two wheel drive Bongo's are they front or rear wheel drive? Or does it depend on the model?

Also, some have a limited slip diff which is said to be very good.

I imagain this could be retro fitted.

How do you know if you have a slip or not?

There is a Russian site which you pop your vehicle details into and it reveals spec of your Bongo, or if its 2wd jack up under the diff, hand brake off and turn one rear wheel.

If the one opposite turns in the other direction you don't, if it goes the same way you do.

Obviously chock the front wheels and do this on level ground.
