Overheated/head gasket gone

Overheated/head casket gone after being in long traffic and not looking at temp gauge and coolant alarm went off Got towed home from Chichester Guy towing said as it started he reckoned I hadn't done any major damage even if it is head gasket fingers crossed

Did they tow it with the four wheels on the road ..ie:- with a rope ..??

Over heating has caused Head gasket to crack I will cost me £1200 to sort out Not sure what to do I cant afford to buy a new Bongo Its an N reg AFT any advice gratefully received

What rotten luck.

If Bongy is in decent nick it will be worth fixing if you possibly can.

Remember you need to know why it overheated and fix that too.

Get a second hand cyl head have it skimmed and your back up and running.sure there will be a few recommendations as to where you can get a head ,try George at Southern bongo as a first stop?

Hurrah Finally got Bongo back Garage reckon sludge at bottom of coolant sytem caused overheating and gasket to crack
Hopefully all sorted :D
