Nice sunny day at work yesterday so treated the Bongo to a long overdue wash.

Does that mean I should not paint it then Helen, maybe when it starts looking a bit tired?

Hi Stu...
Purely a personal view, but it's at that point when it looks just right, but I know the lure of adding  ...That's what I did with my Land Rovers...spray them in coach paint, then I'd just leave them...never even wash them, and when they looked worn, paint them again
Cheers

Lovely and striking looking Bongo, dare I say cool : ) Gives the VW crew a run for their money. Mine is much more anonymous which is fine cause round my area people are likely to key anything too new and shiny looking. Apart from the AFT it really looks like a fairly bland people carrier.

Shame cause inside I probably would like a slightly cooler looking Bongo, but I am ultimately happy with currently reliable, clean and fully working.

That's made my day saying it's cool 8)
I do like VW's but the bongo gets just as many people looking at it and lots come over for a chat and have a look as they've never seen one before.

Really nice Image

I like the detail like the rear spoiler spayed black to follow the roof seal to the front of the van and the black in between the front and rear side windows :)

You need to angle the aerial down slightly to match the rake of the front of the roof bars though ;)

Thank you, I do usually angle the aerial, how sad is that? Also I tred to get the angle of the roof bars the same as the AFT front when we made them.
Doing the black through the window line is my favourite bit.
