Plasma Dial Kit Problems

Anybody had any problems with the wiring on their plasma dial kit?

The first connector on the wire from the inverter works OK, but the ones along the line do not work at all.

When I plug in the extension lead for the heater & gear selector all of the dash dials work, but not when plugged into the wiring from the inverter (other than the one connected to the first plug as I said).

I've tried contacting Visual Performance dozens of times in the last 48hrs, but there's either an answerphone (which they don't respond to) or simply no answer, they don't respond to e-mails either.

Not had that problem, but the company might be on holiday of course or even just the weekend?

On that same note has anyone had problems informing mot centre that the odometer now reads km rather miles

Not really it depends on the attention span of the MoT tester! It used to be an option of Miles or Km and they aren't really concerned as fr as we could see!

Ours seems to have switched several times over the years!

They used to state Miles or Km on the certificate but on my last one it was just shown as a number with nothing to indicate unit of measure.

I assume it's the company in Swindon. I got mine via e bay?..they are complete pants... I've had problems with the dials, I've e-mailed, phoned left messages no joy. Avoid.

I bought a set from a private seller on eBay that was described as new but turned out to be used and flickered briefly before giving up. Probably a proper new set would have been more sucessful.
