What type/size have you got now? Generally, it's best to go for the highest capacity you can, but something like a 110A unit may be too large for your battery tray.

I bought mine from eurocarparts 110ah Lion for £79 which has a 3 yr warranty. Solar panel keeps it charged and I'm swapping the lights and stereo feeds over to the LB.

Dodgey - do these fit the standard winter pack battery tray?

Cheers

I doubt it - I usually use deeper aftermarket trays - people generally come to me with aWillinton kit fitted, with their deeper tray, or I fit an ebay one , though you can check the measurements. Do bear in mind the battery can sit higher than you might think.

Also note that battery has the terminal orientation such that to get the + to the left, they are at the front - closer to the bonnet. You'd get away with a (slightly) bigger battery if the terminals were the other way round.

It's a very snug fit but does go in. Got it for £72 on trade :D

How on earth do you manage to get nearly £60 off at Halfrauds

With a Halfords trade card, its not a fixed discount it depends what you buy, their own brand stuff including tools gets you the best discount. The mark up on some things is actually shocking. A pack of 2 sidelight bulbs that normally cost £2.49 you get for 49p. You can get a set of 3 own brand wiper blades for less than the price of you would pay for one.

What I can tell you for sure is that this:

works with the battery I linked.
